How do wellness plans work?
Build the plan
Name, species, price before GST, monthly, quarterly or yearly, and what is included per period.
Enrol pets
Enrol from the plan page; the first invoice can go out straight away with a pay link.
Billed automatically
Every morning, due plans are invoiced and the owner gets a WhatsApp with a UPI pay link.
Usage tracked
Tick off each consult or bath; staff see what is left on the pet's chart and owners in their portal.
Why offer care plans?
Plans spread the cost of preventive care into small monthly amounts that owners accept more easily, and bring pets back for check-ups, vaccines and deworming on time. ezyVet, Digitail, IDEXX Petly Plans and Covetrus publish wellness or care plan features; based on public information as of October 2026; check with the vendor. In Pet Clinic Software, plans sit next to vaccine reminders and one-off packages, priced in rupees with GST.
Frequently asked questions
Can owners pay automatically every month?
Not yet. Each invoice is raised automatically and sent with a UPI pay link; automatic debit through UPI AutoPay or card mandates needs a payment gateway, which is not connected.
Is GST charged on wellness plans?
Yes, at the rate you set per plan with your CA. Every plan invoice is a GST invoice with CGST and SGST.
Do unused items roll over?
No. Included items reset at the start of each billing period; anything beyond the plan is billed separately as usual.
