Send us your owner list, pets, vaccines and stock from paper registers, Excel, VetPMS, VETbuddy or any other system. We clean and load it free on every plan, and most clinics run their first full day within a week.
What is the step-by-step switching checklist?
Day 1: export
Export owners, pets, vaccine history and stock from your old system or fill our spreadsheet template (owner, phone, pet, species, breed, DOB, last vaccine dates).
Day 2–3: we load it
We clean phone numbers, merge duplicates, recalculate next due dates from your schedules and load opening stock with batch and expiry.
Day 3–4: set up
Your vet reviews vaccine schedules and dose rates; enter vet hours; approve WhatsApp templates.
Day 5–7: go live
Run both systems for a few days if you like, then switch reminders and billing to Pet Clinic Software.

Owners imported from a spreadsheet are marked "csv import": confirm you hold their consent before WhatsApp reminders start (DPDP Act 2023).
Why switch, and when should you not?
Clinics usually switch for WhatsApp reminders in the owner's language, a hospital whiteboard, a GST pharmacy with batch and expiry, QR certificates, online booking with a pet-parent portal and an AI scribe, at a published rupee price. If your current system has a specific analyser or accounting integration you depend on, check our integrations first or ask us; we would rather tell you before you move.
Training is free: an onboarding call in English, Tamil or Hindi, short how-to videos as they are recorded, and WhatsApp support on Hospital and Chain plans. Book a migration call and send a sample export; we reply within one business day.
Frequently asked questions
How much does migration cost?
Nothing. Data migration from paper, Excel, VetPMS, VETbuddy or any other software is free on every Pet Clinic Software plan, including the ₹1,499 Clinic plan.
How long does switching take?
Usually two working days to load clean data and about a week to go fully live, including schedule review, vet hours and WhatsApp template approval. You can run both systems in parallel meanwhile.
Will vaccine due dates carry over?
Yes. We load the last date of each vaccine and deworming and recalculate the next due date from the schedules your vet approves, so reminders continue without a gap.
Can I leave later with my data?
Yes. Owners and pets export as CSV at any time, the API gives access to records, and a full export is provided on request within 30 days of cancellation.
