Before anything is logged it checks units, concentration, your maximum mg/kg, weight age and allergy flags, and the vet ticks to verify. Drugs you flag as controlled get a register line with witness and running balance.

Why it wins: Fewer arithmetic and wrong-strength errors for a 3 kg kitten and a 40 kg Rottweiler alike. The calculator supports, and never replaces, the vet's judgement, and the register supports your record-keeping: check it against your State Drugs Control and NDPS requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pet Clinic Software work on a phone and offline?

Pet Clinic Software is a web app that works on any phone, tablet or desktop browser with no install. It needs a data connection today, including in the Farm-vet module; offline recording for cattle sheds without signal is planned, not live.

Can I connect my lab analyser or PathLab Software?

Lab orders and results are built into Pet Clinic Software: order a test on the chart and enter or attach the result when it comes back. A direct link to PathLab Software, our sister product for diagnostic labs, and analyser interfaces are planned; until then results are entered or attached by hand.

Can I set my own vaccine schedules and brands?

Yes, and you should. Pet Clinic Software loads dog, cat, cattle and goat schedules (DHPPiL, anti-rabies, FVRCP, FMD, HS and BQ, PPR, deworming) as reference defaults only. A qualified veterinarian at your clinic must review and edit them; the clinic sets its own protocols. When you record a dose, the next due date follows your schedule and the reminder is queued.

Does Pet Clinic Software support Tamil and Hindi?

Partly. Every owner has a language setting of English, Tamil or Hindi, but the reminder and update templates are in English today; Tamil and Hindi templates are planned. Staff screens are in English, and onboarding calls can be in Tamil, Hindi or English.

Does Pet Clinic Software handle appointments and walk-ins?

Yes. Pet Clinic Software has bookable slots per vet and a numbered walk-in token queue for reception. The evening before, owners get a WhatsApp reminder and reply YES to confirm; the day list shows who has arrived, and pets you admit appear on the whiteboard in the Hospital module.
